Julie s'est
intéressée à la photographie dès l'age de sept ans. Elle a obtenu
son CAP PHOTO, puis a commencé a travailler le reportage au cours de
manifestations telles que la Gay Pride, a suivi des groupes tels que
Lofofora, Les Wampas, Les Satellites.
Pour élargir son horizon, elle a voyagé en Afrique et en
Angleterre. A la connaissance d'autres cultures s'est ajoutée la
connaissance de soi et de l'autre. Puis ce fut la vie difficile de
ceux pour qui la route n'est pas tracée d'avance.
A l'Isle Sur La Sorgue tout se déclenche enfin. Même si elle n'a
pas de pellicule, elle prend des photos de concerts, elle ne peut
s'en empêcher. Aidée par beaucoup, sa volonté de trouver sa voie la
motivant, elle se lance dans la photographie qui lui fait oublier
certaines"galères".
Elle fait alors des reportages sur des groupes comme Raoul
Petite, Massilia et Les Balayeurs du Désert. En l'an 2000, elle fait
un reportage sur Le Royal de Luxe dans les villes du Havre, Calais
et Nantes.
Un grand reporter photographe qui avait travaillé pour Magnum et
Paris Match lui apportera son aide et l'encouragera: M. Tickomiroff.
Elle fait des photos de nu - masculin et féminin, pose pour
plusieurs photographes, expose ses oeuvres à Aiguières, Cavaillon,
Paris - chez un particulier et L'Isle Sur La Sorgue où elle
participe aussi aux célèbres Marathons Artistiques.
C'est encore dans sa ville qu'elle participera du 25/10/2002 au
11/11/2002 à l'exposition collective "Eros Attitude" - à La Tour
d'Argent. Si l'on ajoute qu'elle joue de la batterie dans un groupe
de rock de filles "La Macha", alors on a une idée de son dynamisme
et de son talent, ...un talent à suivre.

Julie became
interested in photography at the age of seven. Later she qualified
as a photographer and started reporting such events as the Gay Pride,
she followed groups like Lofofora, The Wampas and The Satellites.
To widen her horizon, she travelled to Africa and England. She got
to understand other cultures, other peoples...and herself.
Then she lived the somewhat difficult life of those who like to
explore the world and find their own ways.
It is in L'Isle Sur La Sorgue that her vocation became clear. Even
when she had no film in her camera, she kept taking photos at
concerts, she could not help clicking away. Many people gave her
their help and she was determined to make it. Photography was what
mattered in those difficult times.
That is when she worked for and took photos of groups like Raoul
Petite, Massilia and the Baladeurs du Désert. In the year 2000, she
followed the Royal de Luxe company to Le Havre, Calais and Nantes
and took photos.
She has also done nude photography of male and female models, she
has been a model herself for several photographers.
A great professional photographer and reporter who had worked for
Magnum and Paris Match helped her persevere.
She has exhibited her works in Aiguières, Cavaillon, in a private
home in Paris and in L'Isle Sur La Sorgue where she has been a
regular participant of the Artistic Marathons. It is in L'Isle Sur
La sorgue again that she will show her latest black and white photos
soon.
The collective exhibition will be at the "Tour d'Argent" between
October 25th and November 11th 2002.
She is the drummer in a girls' rock group "La Macha" and that is
one more proof of her drive and talent. In short she is an artist to
follow.
